MAKE: Wall Cabinet

In this 6-hour course, you will learn safety protocols and industry techniques through building a simple wall cabinet with sliding doors. Each student will take home a custom cabinet that is ideal for storing books, trinkets, or homegoods. You will learn fundamental concepts on how to operate a tablesaw, router table, and an assortment of hand tools. The instructors will also cover aspects of project planning, layout techniques, joinery methods, finish work, and assembly. There will be a 30 minute break halfway through the class.

This class is perfect for beginners and hobbyist that want a solid foundation in casework.

23.5"L x 16"H x 10"D

Instructor Bio

This Class will be taught by Volunteer Instructor Steve, and Staff Member Francis. Steve was a career woodworker and educator, and brings a wealth of information in the field of cabinetmaking and millwork.

Francis has been woodworking since 2015 and is always excited to help others cultivate skills in the craft.
